Three days residential training on Sexual Harassment Laws.

Khwendo Kor standing inquiry committee members on the matter of Sexual Harassment at Work Place has recently attended the three days residential training on Sexual Harassment Laws.

Among Khwendo Kor many other organizations including #HEC , #SECP, #nationaluniversityofsciencesandtechnology #NUST, #sindheducationfoundation, #GovernmentOfSindh, #fatimajinnahwomenuniversity, #StateBankofPakistan #SBP, #universityofsargodha and #agakhanruralsupportprogramme #AKRSP has also participated in the training workshop.

Peshawar Literature Festival – IER Department University of Peshawar

Ms. Shazia Hina (Director Programs) has represented Khwendo Kor (KK) in a panel discussion where she shared her views on out of school children and child labor. On dated February 25^th, 2023 the discussion was took placed in IER Department University of Peshawar in an event #PeshawarLiteratureFestival.

Khwendo Kor Elma Bibi Handicraft Promotion and Development Center (EHD 2)

Chief Commissioner Right to Information Mrs. Farah Hamid visited Khwendo Kor’s recent newly inaugurated Elma Bibi Handicraft Promotion and Development (EHD 2) Center in village Shabara of District Charsadda. This women vocational center with the support of People for Humanity has now more than 50 learners who are happily learning vocational skills. Chief Commissioner met with women learners and honored Khwendo Kor works for women economic empowerment.

Khwendo Kor and People for Humanity

Khwendo Kor and People for humanity agreed through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on dated 10th day of January 2023. Both parties’ roles are well defined and agreed in its MoU. The main objective/purpose of understanding is women economic revival and empowerment under the Viable Village Approach (VVA) and establishing a vocational skills center (Elma Bibi Handicrafts Promotions and Development – EHD-2) in District Charsadda.
