Ms. Maryam Bibi and Ms. Tehmina Kazmi from Khwendo Kor actively participated in the GiHA Working Group+ consultative workshop held in Islamabad on 30 May 2025. The session was organized in collaboration with the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) and Gender Accountability Framework (GAF) team in Pakistan. This important consultation, aligned with the Gender Task Force’s monitoring role, is part of the global review of the IASC Gender Policy. The policy outlines standards for mainstreaming gender equality across all areas of humanitarian coordination and programming. Through a structured and facilitated dialogue, the consultation brought together key humanitarian stakeholders to reflect on the past year’s progress in gender integration, highlight best practices, identify gaps, and collectively plan actionable improvements for more gender-responsive humanitarian efforts.
