Climate Resilience for All (CRA)

Youth-Led Action (YLA) Showcasing & Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Khwendo Kor (KK) organized a Youth-Led Action Showcasing Event under the Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI), with the support of the British Council.
The event provided an engaging platform for youth leaders to showcase their community-based projects developed and implemented under the PYLI framework. These youth-led initiatives focused on key climate and sustainability themes, including tree plantation, water conservation, solid waste management, renewable energy and climate education in schools and collages (environmental awareness, and climate-resilient practices)
During the showcasing event, youth leaders presented their projects, shared experiences from the field, discussed challenges and achievements, and highlighted the positive impact of their actions on local communities. The event encouraged peer learning, innovation, and collaboration, while emphasizing the critical role of young people in addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development at the grassroots level.
The Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) project is a three-year initiative led by the British Council Pakistan in partnership with Education Above All Foundation’s Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Government of Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Higher Education Commission, WaterAid Pakistan, UNDP Pakistan, local civil society organisations, and public universities.
The PYLI project aims to train 90,000 youth from universities and communities in Global Citizenship Education, leadership, and Climate Action curriculum, equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to become active change-makers and contribute meaningfully to sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient communities across Pakistan.
