The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Training, implemented by the KK Peshawar Region Team under the HERA Project, was successfully conducted at EHD-1 Deen Dunya, Mathra, from 15 June to 15 July 2026. The initiative addressed a critical need for improved menstrual health by integrating health awareness, vocational skills development, and women’s economic empowerment. Interactive sessions, facilitated by the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Mathra, increased participants’ understanding of menstrual and personal hygiene and strengthened their linkages with local health services for ongoing guidance and support.

Upon completing the training, each participant received a training certificate and a reusable sanitary pad stitching kit, enabling them to start home-based production for personal use and income generation. The initiative contributed to improved health, dignity, confidence, and livelihood opportunities for the participants. They expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Khwendo Kor and the HERA Project for providing this valuable opportunity to improve both their well-being and economic resilience.
