Multi-level coordination for Climate change and Village Council Development Plan (VCPD) implementation.

A coordination meeting on 24 July 2025 at Shahi Palace, Peshawar, established the Provincial Climate Change Network (PCCN) under the VCCCR Project. It brought together DCCN members from Bannu, Karak, and Peshawar, along with key government departments such as Agriculture, PDMA, Forest, WSSP, Home&TA, WWF, GIZ and NGO representatives, who pledged continued collaboration on climate resilience and village development planning.

Provincial Workshop: Enhancing GBV Responses and Support mechanisms at the District and Provincial level.

A Provincial-level Workshop was successfully conducted by Khwendo Kor under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Accessibility Project (KP-RAP) at Highland, Country Club & Resort, Islamabad, focusing on enhancing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Response, Prevention and Support systems.

Khwendo Kor conducted a two-day Training of Trainers (TOT) for Field Education Officers in Haripur on 18–19 June 2025 to strengthen RV school management and teaching practices. The training covered FEO roles, school improvement planning, classroom management, and IT integration. Supported by UNHCR, the session fostered collaboration and aimed to enhance educational outcomes in refugee villages.

It is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization registered in 1993 under the societies Act 1860 (Registration # 2614/5/2280). It was set up in response to an urgent need expressed by women for a forum to address their issues; it has developed into a sisterhood, guiding women to take practical steps for the betterment of themselves and their families.
